Collecting personal information
We collect the following personal information:
- Contact details you give us: name, email address, delivery address. When you place an order or get in touch
- Order details: items purchased, order value, order history
- Payment information: handled directly by our payment provider through our Ecwid/Lightspeed store. We do not see or store your full card details ourselves
- Account details: if you create an account, your login details and cookie consent preferences
- Technical and usage data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected automatically via cookies and similar technologies (see the "Use of cookies" section, below)
- Marketing preferences: if you opt in to hear from us by email
2. Sharing personal information
We share personal information with:
- Ecwid/Lightspeed, our e commerce platform provider, which hosts the store and processes orders on our behalf
- Our payment processor, to take payment at checkout
- Delivery/courier partners, to get your order to you
- Google (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager), for website analytics, using de-personalised data wherever possible
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Using personal information
We use your personal information to:
- Process, fulfil and deliver your order
- Respond to enquiries sent to info@ouri.life
- Understand how visitors use our site and improve it
- Send marketing emails, only if you've opted in, you can unsubscribe at any time
- Meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations
Our legal basis for this (under UK GDPR) is: performance of a contract (processing your order), your consent (marketing emails, non essential cookies) and our legitimate interests (site security and improving performance).
4. Customers' rights with regards to their personal information
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or delete it
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent at any time (unsubscribe from marketing, change your cookie settings)
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe we've mishandled your data
To exercise any of these rights, contact info@ouri.life. We keep order and account data only for as long as necessary to fulfill orders, meet legal obligations and handle any disputes, after which it's deleted or anonymised.
